Over 100 members, community members, local and state government representatives attended the club’s official Turning of the Sod Ceremony on 8 March 2020. The event marked the culmination of over 15 years of hard work and dedication by many club members.

On this important occasion, the club was able to recognise the work of club member Matthew Ponsford, Chris Harper, Michael Doery and Tony Baenziger who have served as club presidents and building committee chairs over the years. Additionally, we thanked Kirsten MacLeod, chair of the New Clubhouse Capital Campaign Committee (NCCCC) and all members of the NCCCC for their amazing fundraising efforts. The club raised over $2.25 million dollars from community over the last two years and the efforts of the NCCCC is to thank for that.
