Back Beach Day
U12 and U13 will meet on the beach at the foot of the Back Beach based on Tuesday 7th January at 9.30am. We will focus on water safety and surf conditions and provide an opportunity for Nippers to experience a swim at the back.

9:30am Rip to River race
The PLSLSC is happy to support the Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club with its fun Rip to River Race.
10km Classic Run Start time 9.30am Pt Lonsdale Beach below the lighthouse. Check in and collect bib first at Pt Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club.
10km Walk Start time 9.00am Pt Lonsdale Beach below the lighthouse. Check in and collect bib first at Pt Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club.
5km Beach Run Start time 9.00am Ocean Grove Main Beach. Check in and collect bib first at Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club.
1.4km Ripper Nipper Start time 9.30am Ocean Grove Main Beach. Check in and collect bib first at Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club.
5km Run & 1.4km Ripper Nipper Start time 9.00am Ocean Grove Main Beach for the 5km & 9.30am for the Ripper Nipper!
NOTE
Those who have registered online can collect bibs either 4-6pm on 3rd January at OG Surf Club; or on the morning of the event from 7.30am (from OG for 5km and Ripper Nipper and from Pt Lonsdale Surf Club for 10km events).
If you have entered after midday on 3rd January, please bring along your registration confirmation on hard copy or phone. It makes it easier to allocate your bib.
A bus will be available to ferry entrants back to Pt Lonsdale SLSC (covered by entry fee). Bus will leave from OG Main Beach approx 11.00am and 12 midday.
Bags may be labelled and left at Pt Lonsdale SLSC. They will be ferried to Ocean Grove Main Beach and can be collected from the BBQ tent. At entrant’s own risk.
7:00pm Rip View Swim DJ night
Bar open from 5:30pm but remember to bring your dancing shoes as we’ve got a DJ to get you moving.
