Michael Doery
President
Michael is an experienced director and executive. He is currently a director of AIFM Limited, Chair (property investment and management), Credit Clear Ltd (ASX listed, fintech, digital) Beveridge Williams Pty Ltd, Chair (engineers and consultants), Greater Metropolitam Cemetery Trust, Chair, A-Gas Australia Pty Ltd( industrial and refrigerant gases), and Star Service International Pty Ltd, Servicing the retail sector including packaging solutions. Michael is a Life Member of the Club, having served in numerous roles, including Club President for six and a half years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jess Robinson
Club Captain
Jess started Nippers in Under 8 and completed her Bronze Medallion in 2016 and went on to complete her Gold Medallion in 2018. She has served as Junior Club Captain, Chief Nipper Instructor, Pink Patrol Coordinator and most recently Club Vice Captain (Lifesaving Services). Jess is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Science. She has extended her lifesaving interest to a state and national level, being a leader on the LSV Development Camps for the past 3 years, a member of the LSV Honours and Awards Committee, The Club Initiatives Officer on the Women in Lifesaving Panel as well as an attendee of SLSA’s National Leadership College in 2022.
Caroline Cotton
Director (Programs)
Caroline’s first association with the club began in 1982 when she started Nippers as an Under 8. She completed her Bronze Medallion in 1989 and patrolled and competed for the club for several years. In the 2020/2021 season Caroline was a Nipper Coordinator. Caroline is an experienced educator, teacher, and entrepreneur who has developed BioBrain, an interactive STEM education platform for secondary school Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students.
Andrew Sutherland
Secretary
Andrew has worked for over 30 years in the Departments of Treasury & Finance, Justice and the Office of Public Prosecutions in capital works delivery, business case development, environmental management and property management. He was appointed community representative for the redevelopment of the Queenscliff Hub with the Queenscliffe Council and Regional Development Victoria. Andrew is interested in heritage protection and has worked with State Government agencies and the Queenscliffe Council to restore the WW2 Army huts at the Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse, and currently, on the Victorian Government-funded project to preserve heritage-listed maritime and defence structures around the Pt Lonsdale headland.

Stuart will
Treasurer
Stuart is a senior finance executive with a track record of success in managing a broad range of finance and non finance functions across a number of industries and businesses, at varying stages of maturity. A qualified Chartered Accountant and 20+ year CFO. Managing operating cash flow and capital works programs is a strength of Stuarts. Stuart was a Nipper Parent for many years and is also Treasurer and a Board Member at Camberwell Hockey Club, a position he has held since 2013. He is also a proud supporter of The Mirabel Foundation, an organisation that assists children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental illicit drug use and are now in the care of extended family (kinship care).
