Junior Activities Member (Nipper): $115 per individual OR refer to Family Discount ‍ ‍

  • MUST be accompanied by an adult membership

    • Nippers aged 7-12 years as at 30 September.

    • Starfish aged 6 to young adults with special needs.

    Additional Nipper Levy of $40 per child who will be enrolling in the Nipper/Starfish Program will be payable as an Addon Fee (follow the prompts)

Associate Member: $145 per individual OR refer to Family Discount ‍ ‍‍

  • Entitled to:

    • contribute to a broad range of Club activities (including volunteering)

    • use of non-lifesaving clubhouse facilities

    • receive all Club newsletters, text messages and official correspondence

    • invitations to Club social functions

    • bar discounts

    • voting rights in accordance with the Constitution

    • can bring up to 5 guests to the Clubhouse

  • Entitled to:

    • contribute to a broad range of Club activities (including volunteering)

    • use of non-lifesaving clubhouse facilities

    • receive all Club newsletters, text messages and official correspondence

    • invitations to Club social functions

    • bar discounts

Associate Member: $80 - Must be undertaking Adult SRC/Nipper Water Safety‍ ‍

  • Entitled to:

    • contribute to a broad range of Club activities (including volunteering)

    • use of non-lifesaving clubhouse facilities

    • receive all Club newsletters, text messages and official correspondence

    • invitations to Club social functions

    • bar discounts

    • voting rights in accordance with the Constitution

    • can bring up to 5 guests to the Clubhouse

Community/Social Member: $55 - Restricted access membership‍ ‍

  • Entitled to:

    • receive all Club newsletters, text messages and official correspondence

    • opportunity to sign up for Silver Salties activities

    • invitations to Club social functions

    • bar discounts

    • can bring up to 3 guests to the Clubhouse

    Access to Club bar only.

    • Patrolling and awards NOT required

    • No competition rights

    • No voting rights

    • No access to other Club facilities, equipment or award training

    A Family Group can be set up for multiple Community Members, however individual fees apply. There is no family discount fee for Community members.

Family Discount: $385 - Does not include Community/Social Members ‍ ‍

  • Includes one or two adults and unlimited dependents (under 21 yrs as at 30 September) living at the same address.

    Individual fees apply for any family member over the age of 21 .

    Adults have the same rights and obligations as an Associate or Senior membership category including mandatory WWCC

    Dependent has the same rights and obligations as their associated membership category.

What other types of membership are there?

  1. A Reserve Active Member is a member who has completed 8 years of patrol services (16+ hours per year) or by permission from the Club Captain. They are required to attend 1 patrol a season on Australia Day and should be available to help (as are all members on RVSC day) - complete and return the RA/LS Application.

  2. A Long Service Member has satisfied the requirements of a Reserve Active Member but has been granted permission from the Club Captain to not patrol as required - complete and return the RA/LS Application.

  3. The General membership category is for individuals aged 17 and over who join the club to complete the Adult SRC course or maintain their existing SRC qualification to participate as water safety for Nippers in Schools or local surf programs

  4. Community/Social Members are encouraged to attend club events and support the Club. They are not able to attend patrols or assist with instructing camps (e.g. Nippers)
