Nippers, JBM & SRC Instructing

This season we will train more than 350 Nippers and have over 100 candidates completing their Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate. These training programs depend on volunteer instructors from our Club membership, working in teams with qualified experienced colleagues.

Instructing is rewarding and enjoyable, and a great way to develop your lifesaving skills.

Expressions of Interest are open:

  • Instructors must be 2026-27 Active Members

  • Lifesaving awards from previous seasons must be re-qualified at Skills Maintenance during 2026

  • Nippers instructors must hold a current SRC or Bronze Medallion

  • Bronze and SRC instructors must hold a current Bronze Medallion
