Release of 2022/2023 Annual Report

Dear members

I am pleased to present the Point Lonsdale SLSC Annual Report for Season 2022/2023.

2022/2023 Annual Report

This is an important document, which sets out achievements over the season, financial results and future plans for the club. A massive thank you to James Coutie and Bunny Carrigan for their efforts in putting together this impressive report.

We are well placed as a club to move forward into the future, and I look forward to presenting this Annual Report, and our future plans to continue to deliver our 2021-2026 strategy, Our New Era at our Annual General Meeting next Saturday 12 August at 2.30pm.

Members may ask questions about the Annual Report and the current state of the Club at the Annual General Meeting, either in advance, by emailing secretary@plslsc.com.au or otherwise in person at the Annual General Meeting.

As previously advised nominations for positions within the club for the next season required to be submitted by 5 pm today - Saturday, 5 August 2023. Pease see the Annual General Meeting page of the Club website for information on nominations and positions available.

While, I have previously advised of my intention to stand down as President at this AGM, the Board has decided that given the number of other Board members intending to retire at the AGM, it would be appropriate for me to seek re-election, with the intention to stay on until January 2024. This decision has been made in the interests of appropriate succession planning and maintaining continuity for the Club.

I will have more to say about this at the AGM next Saturday, and continue to encourage members to put their hands up for roles and help is great Club achieve what we all watch – long-term success.

Read the 2022/2023 Annual Report

Happy reading, and I look forward to seeing you next Saturday 12 August at 2.30pm at the AGM.

Kind regards

Charlie
