Michael Doery
President
Michael is an experienced director and executive, currently serving as a director of AIFM Limited and Chair of several organisations, including Credit Clear Ltd (ASX-listed fintech), Beveridge Williams Pty Ltd (engineering and consulting), Greater Metropolitan Cemetery Trust, A-Gas Australia Pty Ltd (industrial gases), and Star Service International Pty Ltd (retail services and packaging solutions).
A Life Member of the Club, Michael has held numerous roles, including Club President for six and a half years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ANZ) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jess Robinson
Club Captain
Jess began Nippers in Under 8, earned her Bronze Medallion in 2016, and her Gold Medallion in 2018. She has held key roles including Junior Club Captain, Chief Nipper Instructor, Pink Patrol Coordinator, and most recently, Club Vice Captain (Lifesaving Services).
Currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Science, Jess is also active at the state and national level as a leader on LSV Development Camps, a member of the LSV Honours and Awards Committee, Club Initiatives Officer on the Women in Lifesaving Panel, and an attendee of SLSA’s National Leadership College in 2022.
Caroline Cotton
Director (Programs)
Caroline began her association with the club in 1982 as an Under 8 Nipper, earned her Bronze Medallion in 1989, and patrolled and competed for several years. She served as a Nipper Coordinator in the 2020/21 season.
An experienced educator, teacher, and entrepreneur, Caroline is the founder of BioBrain, an interactive STEM education platform for secondary school Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students.
Andrew Sutherland
Secretary
Andrew has over 30 years of experience in the Departments of Treasury & Finance, Justice, and the Office of Public Prosecutions, focusing on capital works, business case development, environmental, and property management.
He served as a community representative for the Queenscliff Hub redevelopment with Queenscliffe Council and Regional Development Victoria. Passionate about heritage protection, Andrew has worked with government agencies to restore the WW2 Army huts at Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse and is currently involved in a Victorian Government project to preserve heritage-listed maritime and defence structures around the Pt Lonsdale headland.
Stuart Will
Treasurer
Stuart is a senior finance executive and qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience as a CFO, successfully managing finance and non-finance functions across various industries. His strengths include overseeing operating cash flow and capital works programs.
A former Nipper parent, Stuart has served as Treasurer and Board Member of Camberwell Hockey Club since 2013. He is also a proud supporter of The Mirabel Foundation, which supports children orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use.
Emma Harrison

Emma has extensive experience in fundraising and marketing within the Not-for-Profit sector. She actively serves on several philanthropic boards focused on health, education, research, and social welfare, and has played a key role in the success of social enterprise initiatives across these areas.
